Tell Burger King: Don’t contaminate drinking water for Whopper wrappers

I just learned about testing indicating that some of your food packaging is treated with PFAS chemicals—including the wrapper for the Whopper. These chemicals are harmful and have contaminated drinking water and communities across the country. These chemicals should not touch the food you serve to customers or be thrown in the trash or incinerated, further harming people and the environment.

Please ban these chemicals from Burger King and all Restaurant Brands International chains, and switch to PFAS-free packaging. Other big food chains, such as McDonald’s, Chipotle, and Taco Bell, have already committed to banning these chemicals and now it's your turn.

It's also time to adopt a comprehensive safer chemicals policy to drive other toxic chemicals such as phthalates out of your supply chain.

Please take these actions to protect my family and our communities. Thank you.
