Oppose HB460 and Protect the Vote

Please protect the freedom to vote for all Granite Staters. I urge you to oppose HB460.
HB460 would make it impossible for someone to register at the polls on election day if they forget or are unable to bring for any reason their identity, domicile, age, or citizenship documents. The bill does this by getting rid of affidavits that voters can sign at the polls attesting to their identity, age, domicile or citizenship; affidavits that are legally binding and secure.
A voter might not have proof of age, domicile, identity, and citizenship for any reason. Maybe they recently moved here, and cannot access their birth certificate in their home state to prove citizenship. Maybe they just turned 18, but don't yet have a driver's license to prove identity. Voting is a constitutional right, and these voters should be able to have their voices heard. 
HB460 will hurt voters who vote both for Republicans and Democrats. New Hampshire's election are already free, fair, safe, and secure.

Summary

Your vote is your voice, your power! But bad actors at the State House are trying to silence the voices of many members of our Granite State community. HB460 targets voters who typically register same-day and who typically do not have access to documents to prove their age/identity/domicile/citizenship. These folks are our friends and neighbors - the high schooler who lives next door who doesn't yet have a driver's license but can currently sign an affidavit to prove identity, the retiree who has moved here and can't access their birth certificate in their home state but who can currently sign a citizenship affidavit. HB460 would not allow anyone who currently relies on signing an affidavit to register same-day the ability to do so, effectively taking away their ability to register and vote. Our freedoms rest on our ability to vote, and your state Rep needs to hear from YOU that you OPPOSE HB460.
