<p>An election information portal would make it possible for voters to complete a new voter application, request an absentee ballot, and update their address and other changes to their voter information securely online. Currently, the only way for voters to do a new voter application or change their information is on paper applications, in-person at the clerk's office. A portal would make elections more accessible for all voters, as folks who work during their clerk's open hours would now be able to complete these forms securely online. Election information portals have been proven cost effective and secure in 42 other states and Washington DC, saving election workers time and taxpayer dollars on processing paper forms. Let's make NH the next state to implement this important election reform!</p>
