Please, vote NO on SB1443 on the Senate floor on April 10.
All these opt-ins are busywork for students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
This bill is meant to micromanage viewpoints at school and create fear about having real discussion of issues. It is also designed to suppress school clubs.
There is no evidence that the curriculum, surveys, or clubs themselves are a problem.
Please, get the Legislature focused on supporting education instead of trying to control every moment of the school day. This is sloppy lawmaking.
