Please, vote NO on HB158 on April 12 in the House Finance Subcommittee.
The fiscal note on the bill estimates a cost of $94,300. I hope you will deal with that cost seriously and not wish it away mysteriously to pass the bill.
This bill takes tools away from schools that help prevent discrimination and, therefore lawsuits. We should not take tools away from our diverse school districts that reduce bias, tools that are increasingly used in the private sector.
Please, focus on the real problems facing our schools.
