Please, vote NO on HB1660 on Monday in the House Higher Education Subcommittee.
The inclusive non-discrimination policies at our public colleges and universities protect students, faculty, and staff and create an environment of equal opportunity. A learning and working environment where everyone is valued and protected ought to be everyone's goal. It helps Tennessee recruit and retain the best.
Before changing the current non-discrimination policies, please consider the impact on recruiting and retention. It is also important to explore the impact on federal grants and contracts before making any alterations.
Tennessee can lead when we bring out the best in everyone.
