<p>Please, vote NO on HB1660 on Monday in the House Higher Education Subcommittee.</p> <p>The inclusive non-discrimination policies at our public colleges and universities protect students, faculty, and staff and create an environment of equal opportunity.  A learning and working environment where everyone is valued and protected ought to be everyone's goal. It helps Tennessee recruit and retain the best.</p> <p>Before changing the current non-discrimination policies, please consider the impact on recruiting and retention. It is also important to explore the impact on federal grants and contracts before making any alterations.</p> <p>Tennessee can lead when we bring out the best in everyone.</p> <p>Thank you for considering my views.</p>
