<p>Please, vote NO on HB1632 when in the House Education Administration Committee on February 7.</p> <p>School districts are trying hard to get the right materials in their libraries and classrooms. There is a lot of confusion and controversy. What school districts do NOT need in this situation is a law that encourages more people to sue our public school districts.</p> <p>This bill would make it possible for parents who don't even have a child in a district school to file suit. This is a step too far and will only promote fear-based decision-making. Books are not a threat to education.</p> <p>Thank you for considering my views.</p>
