A School Without a Sidewalk?

Dear [Your Elected Official],

<p>I am writing to urge you to please explore every possible avenue to fund and construct an extension of the Bluestone Trail to connect Rocktown High School.</p> <p>I believe it is paramount for our city to provide safe and accessible connections to our schools and public places. Everyone should have the freedom to choose biking, walking, and active transportation as part of their daily life.</p> <p>I am grateful for the City of Harrisonburg's efforts in apply for grants to fund this critical connection. I urge City Council to have a plan in place in the event the most recent grant application is also unsuccessful.</p> <p>We don't build our schools without parking lots or road connections. Please ensure that they are also connected for people to bike, walk, and roll.</p>
