To the Directors of the National Park Service,

<h3>I firmly oppose the National Park Service’s heartless plan to eradicate the community cats living at the San Juan National Historic Site in Puerto Rico.<br /> <br />These cats, who have peacefully coexisted with the community for generations, now face a death sentence for simply existing. This cruel decision ignores humane alternatives like Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and adoption, which are both effective and widely supported.<br /> <br />The proposal to remove them disregards environmental protections and the wishes of many of the Puerto Rican people, who see these cats as part of their cultural heritage.<br /> <br />I call on the NPS to abandon this brutal plan and embrace effective alternatives to manage the cat population. These animals have been part of the community for decades, and killing is not the answer.</h3>
