To Members of Congress,

<h3>I call on you to support H.R. 8492, the Prohibit Wildlife Killing Contests Act of 2024, to end the brutal and senseless slaughter of innocent animals in so-called "killing contests."<br /> <br />In these sickening events, harmless coyotes, foxes, bobcats, and other animals suffer and die as hunters compete for cash and prizes by killing as many animals as possible.<br /> <br />These killings promote animal abuse and serve no useful purpose. While some states have banned these events, only a federal law can stop this cruelty nationwide.<br /> <br /> Without federal action, an estimated 60,000 animals will continue to be killed each year in these events.<br /> <br />Wild animals deserve respect and protection. Their habitat should be preserved for future generations. Please support H.R. 8492.</h3>
