<p>South Carolina HB 3264 would require the State Department of Education to establish a “Media Literacy and Critical Thinking” pilot program with 7 school districts for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years. The pilot program would address components of media literacy including news content literacy, visual literacy, digital fluency, and digital literacy.
