Thank you for delaying the sale of land to xAI for the water recycling plant last week. The lack of transparency has been a concern, but I do support this innovative water project overall. With Tennessee Valley Authority signing a Letter of Intent, we are closer to getting MLGW's largest water user off our aquifer and shared drinking water infrastructure.

I am asking you to vote YES for this land sale — if the sale agreement and deed contain language that will ensure this land is used for a water recycling plant ONLY! The City must ensure that the land is used for this one purpose and that the plant can continue operation by the Public Works even if xAI leaves the community.
