Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) are engaging in abusive practices, including price gouging and patient steering, that are harming our communities and threatening access to trusted healthcare by driving independent pharmacies out of business.
Thanks to investigations by the FTC, House Oversight Committee, U.S. Senate hearings on insulin pricing, multiple state lawsuits over opioid manipulation, and PBMs’ blatant refusal to comply with FTC data requests, we now have undeniable proof of these abuses.
The people see the problem—now we need action. We demand protections for patients and independent pharmacies from unfair PBM practices before more lives are lost and more pharmacies are forced to close.
P.S. We are building a grassroots movement at patientprotector.us in memory of Cole Schmidtknecht, who paid the ultimate price for PBM greed. Don’t let them continue to harm our families!
