Let's Hold Chemical Companies Accountable!
Dear Governor Armstrong,

I’m counting on you to stand up to the big chemical companies trying to force immunity for the consequences of their products.

House Bill 1318 says the EPA label is sufficient as a failure to warn and removes all opportunity to use any other laws in the product liability chapter. This immunity is total even if the Ag Commissioner revokes a pesticide and decides otherwise. It puts Washington bureaucrats and corporate chemical companies in total control, even when they get it wrong.

That loophole invites corporate cornercutting and leaves North Dakotans with sick kids,
poisoned wells, and a toxic legacy.

Please veto House Bill 1318 because it gives foreign chemical corporations like ChemChina total immunity for violating federal pesticide labeling requirements.

Sincerely,
