Dear [Your Elected Official],

I am writing to respectfully urge you to oppose HB 365, relative to proof of United States citizenship for indigent voters. 

No citizen should have to attest to their financial status in order to enact their constitutional right to vote. A voucher program like the one described in this bill would work solely to invade constituents' privacy while implementing another affidavit system, which HB1569 found to be inadequate just last year.  

This bill seeks to address a problem that has emerged as a direct result of needlessly tightening voting restrictions.

Please side with the voters in opposing HB365.
