multi-national pesticide companies.
The government agency responsible for regulating these pesticides, the Environmental Protection Agency, has not even reviewed some of these chemicals in many years. The
government watchdogs overseeing these chemicals’ safety are relying on the chemical
company’s own studies and working closely with the chemical manufacturers when producing reports.
We have to stop SB 1078 because it gives foreign chemical corporations like ChemChina total immunity for violating federal pesticide labeling requirements.
No, chemical companies are asking for a law that gives them immunity from any accountability for the harm their products cause. Please say no to this legislation. We’re counting on you.
