I am writing as a concerned constituent and American Hindu to urge you to take action following the April 22, 2025, massacre of 28 Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, India. They were killed for their faith — asked to recite Islamic declarations and executed when they could not.
This was a religious hate crime. The perpetrators, linked to Pakistan-based terror groups, have acted with impunity.
I respectfully request that you:
1. Support a resolution condemning the Pahalgam massacre as religious terror.
2. Urge the State Department to list Pakistan as a 'Country of Particular Concern'.
3. Raise this issue in Congressional hearings on global religious freedom.
4. Formally recognize the 1990 exodus massacre as genocide-level religious targeting of Hindus.
Thank you for your leadership and your voice.
