In recent months, federal law enforcement officials have conducted raids in California while covering their faces and at times, badges, names and other identifying information. This has uncovered a glaring omission to state law - that all law enforcement operating here should be identifying themselves and not hiding their identities.

Senate Bill 627 would prohibt law enforcement at all levels operating in California from covering their faces while conducting operations, with limited exemptions and exceptions.

Please write to your Assembly Member and ask them to vote YES on SB 627.
