Providers must continue to be paid in instances where there is a state budget impasse or delay. House Bill 1609 allows for many children’s services providers to continue to receive funds despite a budget delay.

HB1609 permits for ongoing funding for: domestic violence services, mental health services, behavioral health services, intellectual disability services, payments for delinquent and dependent youth programs, medical assistance payments, and others.

Please reach out to your legislators and ask that they support HB1609. Children’s services providers cannot survive another prolonged funding/budget delay.
