<p>Dear Mayor Jones and Wake Forest Commissioners,</p> <p>I want to express my support for Commissioner Faith Cross and her courage in speaking up during the September 2 work session. I respectfully ask that you not proceed with proclaiming October as “Pride Month” in Wake Forest.</p> <p>This proclamation does not represent the values of many families in our community, and I believe the focus of our town should remain on bringing neighbors together rather than adopting divisive agendas.</p> <p>Thank you for your consideration.</p>
