I am writing as your constituent to urge you to protect the privacy and safety of girls in North Carolina schools.
The U.S. Department of Education recently found that schools allowing boys to use girls’ restrooms are in violation of Title IX. Yet some districts in North Carolina have adopted similar harmful policies. These policies compromise girls’ safety, dignity, and privacy.
I ask you to oppose any policies or practices that allow boys in girls’ restrooms and to take proactive steps to ensure Title IX is enforced as it was intended—to protect girls, not endanger them.
Please stand with parents and families across North Carolina to protect our children at school.
