Oklahomans Defend Civil Justice from Pesticide Immunity Bill (House Bill 1755 and Senate Bill 1078

When foreign chemical corporations and corporate lobbyists pushed House Bill 1755 and Senate Bill 1078, legislation that would have granted sweeping immunity to pesticide manufacturers, Oklahoma voters were paying close attention.

Constituents across the state took action, contacting their legislators to say clearly: Don’t let Bayer, ChemChina, or Monsanto rewrite Tennessee law to protect themselves at the expense of our families.

Thanks to a strong showing of legislative resistance, House Bill 1755 and Senate Bill 1078 did not pass, but the fight isn’t over. Advocates and voters are already warning lawmakers not to revive this dangerous proposal in 2026.

Thank your legislators!

Let your legislators know how thankful you are that they opposed corporate immunity and protected Oklahoma families. Your voice matters.
