Tell Indonesian Governor: Stand with 93% of Indonesians against dog meat trade!

To the Governor of North Sulawesi, Yulius Selvanus,
The cruelty happening in dog meat markets in Indonesia is unacceptable and must end.
Dogs are crammed into filthy cages, left with untreated wounds, and forced to witness the violent killing of others.
Many collapse from exhaustion or pain long before their lives are taken.
This trade is not only brutal to animals — it also fuels the spread of rabies, putting entire communities at risk.
The unsanitary markets, covered in blood and waste, endanger both people and animals.
We urge you to stop the capture, transport, and slaughter of dogs for meat, and to hold accountable those who abuse and kill them.
Humane, safe, and effective solutions exist.
Indonesia can and must act now to end this cruelty and protect both animals and people.
Sincerely,
