Dear Speaker Johnson,

Remember, you work for all of us as our speaker in our house- the Peoples' House.

It’s time to get back to work: get the job done to provide healthcare for the American people, swear in the new legally elected Congresswoman Grijalva, and release the Epstein files. We, the people, deserve all three of those things right now.

Mr. Speaker, the House republicans should not have a paid vaction on the backs of the furloughed workers of our country. As speaker of the house, you have significant authority and can negotiate directly with the Senate Majority Leader as well as the White House.

It is your job to deliver for the American people.

Summary

Speaker Johnson has canceled all working session and insists that they House has "done their job". We all know that this is not the case because the American people are suffering, furloughs are dragging on, and our food programs are running out of funds. The most vulnerable people in our communities are taking the hit while Speaker Johnson has given House members a paid vaction on the backs of furloughed workers and the American people.  Tell him that you want him to get back to work and do his job. He is the Speaker of the House of the United States and therefore, he is the Speaker for all of us and works for us.  Tell the Speaker it's time to get back to work; that we expect him to get back to work and deliver for the American people, because that's his job.
