<p>Latest development: On 11/3, USDA (following a court order) announced it will release SNAP contingency funds to allow November benefits to proceed. Since the contingency fund is approximately half of what is required monthly, this means receipients will receive approximately half of their benefits in November.</p>
<p>Courts clarified USDA has the authority to supplement these funds and release full benefits. However, USDA has chosen not to fully-fund SNAP.</p>
