Appeasement Is Not Peace

For Representative:

My name is [YOUR NAME] and I am your constituent from [CITY, STATE].

I was horrified by the 28-point appeasement plan.

In light of continued unwillingness to apply serious pressure to Russia, I ask that you sign Representative Fitzpatrick's discharge petition to finally bring the Sanctioning Russia Act for a vote in the House. HR 2548 has overwhelming bipartisan support, with 60 Republican and 60 Democrat cosponsors, and even more overwhelming support in the Senate, yet House leadership continues to refuse scheduling it for a vote. It's time to give this bill a fair chance in a floor vote.

Dictators only understand strength. As long as we delay exerting maximum pressure, Russia will continue murdering civilians, abducting Ukrainian children, and threatening our allies.

I ask that [REPRESENTATIVE'S NAME] sign Fitzpatrick's discharge petition. It's time for Congress to act.

For Senators:

My name is [YOUR NAME] and I am your constituent from [CITY, STATE].

I am horrified by the 28-point appeasement peace plan President Trump is demanding Ukraine accepts. Threatening to cut off aid and intel if Ukraine refuses sickens those of us who stand for justice and freedom.

Surrendering Donbas would reward Russia at the negotiating table for what it failed to achieve on the battlefield. Limiting Ukrainian forces to 600,000 would ensure that Ukraine is both permanently threatened by Russia and reliant on its allies. Limiting reparations to $100 billion, while returning the remainder of Russia’s frozen assets, despite the costs of damages being over a trillion, would saddle Ukrainians and the West with paying for Russia’s invasion.

This is not a peace agreement, it’s surrender and appeasement. It's un-American and evil. [REPRESENTATIVE'S NAME] needs to speak up.
