<p>I want to thank you for support H.223 <em>An act relative to a livable wage for human services workers</em>. This bill aims to eliminate the pay disparity that exists between the salaries of human services workers employed by community-based human service providers and state employees holding similar job titles who perform similar work.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am so grateful for the favorable reporting from the Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities and hope that the bill progresses. The human services sector supports the most vulnerable in the Commonwealth. Adequate funding for this sector helps workers continue to do the work they love and uplifts the hundreds of the thousands that rely on these essential services everyday.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you for your support!</p>
