House Bill 809 Is A Direct Attack on Tennessee Farmers and Families

As a citizen of your district, I’m counting on you to stand up to the big chemical companies pushing House Bill 809 to shield themselves from accountability. Some of these same multinational companies selling pesticides linked to cancer also sell drugs to treat cancer. Now, they want a law to protect them from being held responsible for the damage their products cause.

House Bill 809 is an outright attack on Tennessee farmers’ property rights. It strips their ability to seek justice when deceptive labels destroy their crops or their health. And it directly benefits ChemChina, a company controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

Enough is enough. Please vote NO on House Bill 809.

The bill is a gift to ChemChina, a company flagged by the Pentagon as a “Chinese Military Company,” whose paraquat pesticide is banned in China for its link to Parkinson’s—but still sold here without that warning on the label. Tell your legislators: Vote NO on House Bill 809 and stand with Tennessee farmers, not foreign chemical corporations.
