<p>I am writing to personally invite you to attend the <strong>14th Annual Caring Force State House Rally on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the State House at 10:00 a.m.</strong> in the Great Hall. </p> <p>As your constituent, I hope you will join us to show your support for the dedicated human services workers who serve hundreds of thousands of people across the Commonwealth. <strong>We hope to set up a meeting with your office after the rally to discuss our priorities more in depth.</strong></p> <p>This year, we are advocating for two critical pieces of legislation that would address the workforce crisis in human services here in the Commonwealth:</p> <p><strong>S.130 | H.223 </strong>– An act relative to a livable wage for human services workers</p> <p>This bill would eliminate the pay disparity between human services workers employed by community-based providers and state employees with similar job titles performing similar work. Our workers deserve equal pay for equal work.</p> <p><strong>S.119 | H.283</strong> – An act relative to a loan repayment program for human services workers</p> <p>This legislation would establish a student loan repayment program for human services workers who provide essential services to our most vulnerable residents. This support would help attract and retain qualified professionals in this vital field.</p> <p>Your presence at the rally would mean a great deal to the human services workforce and the communities we serve.
