<p>I urge you to vote NO on HB2449 on Tuesday in the Departments & Agencies Subcommittee.</p> <p>Library systems around the state have reconsideration policies.  What is the reason for putting additional statewide criteria into law without considering how that might disturb the existing processes in place in local Tennessee libraries?</p> <p>Will the requirements in this bill increase the workload of libraries? Will they encourage people who have never read certain books to request their removal harming others who use the library?</p> <p>I hope you will listen to the perspectives of library professionals.</p> <p>Thank you for considering my views.</p>
