Summary
<p>HB 3009, filed by Representative Hausman, was perfected in the House. This Bill will allow pharmacies to distribute emergency prescriptions to patients who are living in an area that is experiencing a state of emergency. The Bill also includes amendments from State Representatives, including the language of SB 878. SB 878 will expand scope authority for CLIA waived tests and the writing of prescriptions for certain types of medical equipment. It will also allow for the over-the-counter sale of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine upon FDA authorization for over-the-counter dispensing as well as FDA approval of a warning label.</p>
