Stand with Faith-Driven Athletes

"Dear Sports Organization,

Professional NBA player Jaden Ivey was dismissed after posting messages on Instagram affirming his faith in Jesus Christ and expressing his opposition to mandatory Pride Month celebrations in the NBA—speaking from his biblical convictions about gender and marriage. He shared his personal beliefs on his personal account, yet the response labeled his expression of faith as “conduct detrimental to the team.” While leagues openly promote many viewpoints, athletes who express Christian beliefs are met with pressure or consequences. That kind of double standard sends a clear message: faith is welcome only if it stays private.

We represent millions of faith-driven consumers who support professional sports and believe athletes should be free to live and speak according to their faith without fear of punishment. We are not asking for special treatment—only equal respect. When faith is pushed aside, it becomes invisible. But when we stand together, it becomes a voice that cannot be ignored. We urge you to ensure that faith-driven athletes are welcomed, respected, and free to live with integrity—on and off the field.

Signed,"
