That means the 2026 helicopter roundups are your decision to allow or stop.</h3> <h3>More than 14,000 wild horses are being chased to exhaustion, injured, and separated from their families.</h3> <h3>BLM's own records document horses dying from broken necks, shattered legs, and muscle collapse caused directly by these chases.</h3> <h3>Humane, cost-effective fertility control already exists and can replace this suffering.</h3> <h3>I urge you to immediately halt helicopter roundups and direct the Bureau of Land Management to implement humane population management methods.</h3> <h3>Protect these animals from further harm.</h3>
