<p>I am writing to urge you to vote Inexpedient to Legislate (ITL) on SB 223.</p> <p>SB 223 seeks to eliminate student IDs as an acceptable form of identification for voting in New Hampshire. However, this legislation is now entirely redundant. Governor Kelly Ayotte has already signed HB 323, an identical bill, into law. HB 323 takes effect next month.</p> <p>Moving forward with SB 223 would mean passing duplicate legislation on a matter that has already been resolved. The House's time and resources are better spent on issues that still require action.</p> <p>We respectfully ask that the House ITL SB 223.</p>
