First, thank you for your service to our community and our entire district.
As a constituent, I am counting on you to do the right thing and vote no against Uber’s attempts to gain immunity and avoid accountability under our civil justice system.
Uber took $3.5 billion in venture capital from a Saudi Arabian fund controlled by the Saudi Royal family, giving the Saudi Royal family a seat on the board.
The Saudi fund remains the sixth largest investor in Uber, even after the royal family allegedly assassinated a Washington Post journalist.
How can we trust a company like that with our safety? The safety of our loved ones, our children?
Oppose immunity efforts by Uber, and protect our right to hold rich reckless corporations accountable. Do not allow federal preemption and immunity for rideshare companies.
