Tell Chair Romer: Advance Delaware House Bill 415!

Email Subject:
Dear Rep. Cyndie Romer, Chair of the Delaware House Sunset Committee,
You introduced House Bill 415 because animals suffering abuse and neglect deserve stronger protection.
Veterinarians are often the first professionals to see infected wounds, severe neglect, unexplained injuries, and other warning signs that an animal may be in danger. Yet Delaware law does not currently require suspected cruelty to be reported.
House Bill 415 would change that by requiring veterinarians to report suspected abuse or neglect and complete regular training on recognizing signs of cruelty.
As Chair of the Delaware House Sunset Committee, you are in a unique position to help advance this important legislation.
We urge you to do everything in your power to move House Bill 415 forward and help ensure suspected animal abuse is reported, investigated, and addressed before more animals suffer.
