Midwives save lives! These amendments build upon the 2024 Maternal Health Law to help the state achieve its goals of improving maternal care and expanding access to midwives and birth options.
Without sustainable reimbursement and staffing, birth centers and midwifery practices will close. Please cosponsor amendments #126 and #504 and advocate for them to pass.
