Sanctions Now
Dear [Your Elected Official],

At least 26 people were killed, including multiple children, and more than 80 wounded in a massive Russian attack on Ukraine on October 8. In light of these continued attacks we urge the Trump Administration to apply the Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act's sanctions to their fullest extent without delay.

Furthermore, as Ukraine prepares for another brutal winter of warfare and ongoing Russian war crimes, I encourage you to urge House leadership to schedule an immediate vote on the PEACE Act (H.R. 4346), which passed the House Financial Services Committee in July 2025 by an overwhelmingly bipartisan 53-1 vote.

The PEACE Act mandates that the Treasury Department accelerate the transfer of immobilized Russian sovereign assets within U.S. Jurisdiction to Ukraine. It also authorizes Ukraine to use those transferred Russian funds to buy the defensive weapons it desperately needs to protect its citizens and defend its sovereign territory from Putin’s relentless war of terror.

Polls consistently show that the majority of Americans, including 69% of Republicans, support strengthening sanctions against Moscow. I ask that you do what is in your power to ensure the White House implements the Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, and that  House leadership schedules the PEACE Act for a vote on the suspension calendar to help Ukraine meet its current existential threat from Russia. These two priorities advance American values, American interests, and the clearly expressed will of the American public.

Thank you,

Additionally I encourage you to urge House leadership to schedule a vote on the PEACE Act (H.R. 4346), which passed the House Financial Services Committee by an overwhelming 53-1 vote. The PEACE Act mandates that the Treasury Department accelerate the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, and authorizes Ukraine to use those funds to buy the weapons it desperately needs to protect its citizens.
