<h3>Thank you for bringing Intro. 943, Romanch’s Law, to a vote on October 22.</h3> <h3>I urge the Council to pass it without delay. Romanch Mahajan’s death and the death of a carriage horse this summer show that this industry cannot continue safely in New York City.</h3> <h3><br />As the industry winds down, please make sure every retired carriage horse goes to a sanctuary. No horse should be sold to slaughter or sent to work for a carriage business in another city.</h3> <h3><br />Thank you for your leadership.</h3>
