Support hardworking Nebraskans! Support LB108!

Nebraskans are hardworking, and we should be rewarding that hard work, not discouraging it. Current SNAP limitations discourage some low-income workers from striving for pay increases or better-paying jobs, as the resulting small increase in income could mean a larger loss of SNAP benefits. This is the SNAP Cliff Effect, and LB108 strives to correct this problem.

Low-income families shouldn’t have to worry about losing the food security provided by SNAP while working to become financially independent. I urge you to support hardworking Nebraskans in their efforts to escape social dependence by supporting LB108!

Sincerely,

Camera
