Vote NO on SB1944 in Senate Judiciary on April 6

Please, vote NO on SB1944 in the Senate Judiciary Committee on April 6.

School librarians are vital professionals who support students with age-approporiate materials every week of the school year, not criminals pushing obscenity. The testimony about this bill has been full of misleading information that smears our librarians with accusations that they don't deserve.

This bill will lead to book challenges that will keep school systems busy and take books from library shelves. Ultimately, that will lead to costly lawsuits against school districts and the state.

Thank you for considering my views.
