Vote NO on SB1224 on April 13

Dear [title] [last name],

Please, vote NO on SB1224 on April 13 in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

I don't believe that state government should force businesses to put up signs that have no purpose other than to intimidate their customers and employees.

This bill is an effort to intimidate transgender people about restrooms and intimidate businesses that support inclusive restrooms. Legislation like this can put transgender people in danger and make businesses a target for aggression.

The sponsor has not consulted transgender people about the dangers of this bill.  The business community will view this as an unfunded mandate and the government attempting to force a viewpoint on them. The business community does not support the bill and neither do I.

Thank you for considering my views.
