Vote NO on HB892

Please, vote NO on HB892 when it comes before the House Civil Justice Subcommittee this week.

There is no legal authority for a state government to nullify a decision of the U.S. Supreme Court.

This bill, if passed, would disrupt marriages and families and, therefore, the lives of children.

The fiscal note details the many potential costs involved in passing the bill. It can be found at the pdf at this link:  http://www.capitol.tn.gov/Bills/110/Fiscal/SB0752.pdf .

Discrimination is not worth the human and financial cost to Tennessee.

Thank you for considering my views.

NO to TN Natural Marriage Defense Act

The Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act is discriminatory and it is a huge financial risk for our state. Any attempt to take away marriage equality from same-sex couples will ultimately fail. It is a no-win proposition for Tennessee.
