Please, vote NO on HB1274 on the House floor. Discriminatory bills are flying out of the House this year while using our taxpayer dollars to target people already under attack.
HB1274 is not only an anti-transgender bathroom bill, but it is actually multiple anti-transgender policies because it will encourage school districts to adopt policies targeting transgender students with the support of the Attorney General's office.
This is a terrible use of that office and of state funds.
By targeting transgender students, the House risks putting a target on Tennessee. The boycotts will come and we will lose millions of dollars in tax and investment.
It's time to push the pause button on discrimination in Tennessee.
