An estimated 5.8 million Texans have a mental illness and 1.4 million have a substance use disorder. Amidst a multi-billion dollar budget shortfall and a significant increase in people seeking services in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to raise our voices to ensure that behavioral health services are protected. Please join with us to urge the Legislature to ensure funding for mental health and substance use disorder services, increase access to telehealth services, and expand health coverage for the uninsured!
