Please, vote NO on HB563 when it comes up in the Business Subcommittee on Tuesday. This bill takes tools away from government in its contract, grant-making, and procurement processes. If a company or nonprofit has a discriminatory policy, state and local government would not be able to reward a company with good policies. That would result in taxpayer funded discrimination and it is bad public policy.
