It’s time to end cruel government funded experiments that infect animals’ brains with contaminated tissue to study Chronic Wasting Disease, a disease that affect deer and moose. Monkeys are taken from their homelands in Africa and South America, kept in barren wire cages isolated from one another, and infected with CWD-causing prions via holes drilled into their brains or force-fed infected tissues. Similar studies have been conducted on mice. These studies have not produced conclusive information about the threat of human contagion from CWD and can be replaced with superior, advanced 3D cell cultures known as organoids.
